On behalf of all crew members onboard of MV Gemini- Miray Cruises-passenger ship (IMO 9000687, MMSI 311000160) under the flag of Bahamas.
This is to inform that Miray Cruises has denied to pay its employees without any warning or reason, crew from all departments, some crew have their salaries late about 1, 2 and even 3 months with no payments and no any clear explanations why that is happening. some crew had to sign some documents declaring they received the money to avoid further issues.
Furthermore, a lot of crew member they all still receiving their salaries from their previous contract in 2024.( Previous season), apparently this was not the first time, basically Miray Cruises kept their money to give them back on the next season/contract forcing them to decide come back onboard to have their salaries which is supposed to be paid months ago and they fear that it will happen the same.
I'm July 2025 there was an inspection conducted by ITF in Piraeus-Greece - port of Athens, which seemed to be working the operation had to stop and guests have been disembarked due the issue mentioned above, after that MV Gemini stayed anchored for 6 days, and the crew hoped that this issue would be fixed but unfortunately haven't been fixed at all.
